Students and teachers of Std. II planned and showcased India’s cultural diversity united by secularism. The auspicious kuthuvilakkuj was lit up by Fr. Mathias- Principal, Fr. Michaelraj Lazar- Vice Principal, Mrs. Kulandai Teresa- AHM, initiating the celebration of ‘Incredible India’. Models of Indian monuments and scientific innovations were exhibited and students gave exemplary narration specifying the uniqueness of the exhibits. The Second standard corridor was transformed to mini India with children dressed up in costumes of various states, an array of Indian delicacies were in display for distribution to students, salient contributions of Indian culture to the world like ‘Ayurvedha’ and ‘Yoga’ were demonstrated. Every child was seen wearing a tricolor shawl with pride.

The meticulous planning and executing of this celebration imbibed in our children the knowledge and understanding of India’s cultural tapestry.
